Must. Be. AWESOME!!!

I got a chance to check out Fitz and the Tantrums at SXSW’s Radio Day Stage in Austin. This band was by far the best new music discovery of the week. Here’s a brief snippet of them covering The Eurythmics’ “These Dreams Are Made of This.”

Seriously, go download their debut album Pickin’ Up the Pieces ASAP. It’s a fun album rife with ’60s presence: a well-engineered retro jam album complete with one of the best backlines I’ve ever heard live. These guys (and girl!) are the real deal.
